What is Block/Hold Fund Facility?

The Block/Hold Fund Facility lets users temporarily lock (or "lien") a specified amount of money from their SSFB savings account to add margin to their Torus Digital trading account or secure funds for a trade. Once the funds are blocked, they can be utilized only for trading / investment purposes and will not be available in free balance.

However, you can withdraw these funds or utilize them elsewhere by releasing the funds through the ‘Release’ option. Click here to know how to Release Funds.

What else is in store! You continue to earn interest on these Blocked funds along with the free funds available in your bank account as per the below slabs:
