Hold / Block facility enables you to mark a lien or allocated an amount as per your preference for trading / investment purposes and is just a click away. You can block funds in yourSSFB accountby following these steps:
Mention the amount you would want to allocate or block for trading purposes in the ‘Enter Amount’. Alternatively, you can tick the option of ‘Block 100% Balance’ which will allocate or block the entire amount of free balance in yourSavings account.
Click on the ‘Block Fund’ button.
Click ‘Yes’ on pop displayed which confirms your intent to block funds.
You will receive a confirmation message stating the success of blocking funds.
Once you've completed these steps, your funds will be successfully blocked and available for trading purposes as needed with immediate effect. Kindly note that you will continue to earn interest on such blocked amount if it has not been utilized for trading purposes i.e. Buying of shares or carry forward of derivative positions.
