Eicher Motors has posted an impressive set of numbers for the second quarter of the financial year 2025–26 (Q2FY26) on 13th November 2025, marking one of its strongest quarterly performances to date. The company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹1,369 crore, reflecting a 25% year-on-year rise compared with ₹1,100 crore in the same quarter last year. The growth was fuelled by a buoyant festive season and sustained demand across both the motorcycle and commercial vehicle segments.
Revenue from operations surged 45% to ₹6,172 crore, up from ₹4,263 crore in Q2FY25, underlining broad-based momentum across the company’s portfolio. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 39% to ₹1,512 crore, while EBITDA margin stood at 24.5%.
Vehicle Sales See Strong Uptick Across Divisions
Eicher Motors saw a sharp rise in total vehicle sales during the quarter.
Royal Enfield delivered standout performance, selling 327,067 motorcycles, a 45% increase from 225,317 units a year earlier. The company cited a highly successful festive period, during which it achieved record sales of 249,000 units.
Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles (VECV) also contributed to overall growth, reporting sales of 21,901 units, compared with 20,774 units in the previous year. According to Eicher Motors, this marks VECV’s best-ever second quarter in terms of truck and bus deliveries.
B Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors and CEO of Royal Enfield, highlighted that demand in the sub-350cc motorcycle category strengthened following the recent reduction in GST. Vinod Aggarwal, MD and CEO of VECV, noted that VECV recorded 5.4% year-on-year growth, with spare parts sales rising 11.8% sequentially, supported by an expanding dealer network.
