What are the Investment Options Available in Torus for Mutual Funds?

Torus offers two investment options for mutual funds:

1.  Systematic Investment Plan (SIP):

To Invest in SIP:

a. Select the fund of your choice.
b. Enter the investment amount and select the SIP Date from the calendar (when the amount will be deducted monthly).
c. Choose whether to make the First Order Today (FOT):
  • If FOT is selected: The first payment must be completed today, and SIP registration will proceed as per the selected date.
  • If FOT is not selected: SIP registration will proceed, and the scheduled instalment will be auto debited on the selected date (if the mandate is approved).
  • For Non-FOT SIPs: No first payment is required. Upon clicking Create SIP, registration is completed, and instalments will be auto debited on the scheduled date.

Note: If you do not have an active mandate, you will be redirected to set up a mandate for auto-debit of future instalments.

iv.  Payment Completion (For FOT Orders): If First Order Today is selected, complete the payment using UPI or Net Banking. Ensure AutoPay is set up for future instalments.

Important Note:
  • SIP can only be set up on a monthly basis.
  • When you set up a SIP with First order today, the first month often skipped because there needs to be a minimum of 30 days between first and second instalment.
  • SIP Auto-Debit: Your SIP will only be auto-debited if you have approved the mandate. If the mandate is not approved, future SIP payments will not be processed.

2. One-Time Investment (Lumpsum):

a.  Enter the investment amount and click Proceed to Pay.
b.  Select a payment method (Net Banking or UPI) and complete the transaction.

Retry Payment: If you placed a SIP with FOT or a purchase order but did not complete the payment, you can reinitiate the payment by clicking on the retry payment link in the transaction detail page. The transaction detail page can be accessed by the following ways:

SIP Orders: On the Orders page, clicking a SIP order card will display up to the last five instalments for that order. Selecting any of these transaction cards will navigate you to the Transaction Details page. To view older transactions, click the Show more link, which will take you to the Order Details page, where all remaining transactions are listed. From there, you can also click on any transaction card to view its details.

One-Time Orders: On the Orders page, clicking a one-time order card will directly take you to the Transaction Details page.
