Can I use ledger balance to pay for my SIPs or Mutual Funds orders?

As per the SEBI Circular dated 04 Oct 2021, the amount from all purchases for Mutual Funds should originate only from the user’s bank accounts and reach the exchange directly. This would mean that users cannot use any available amount from ledger to pay for any Mutual Fund order. So, even if there is a sufficient amount in your wallet, it cannot be used for paying for your SIP instalment.

We highly recommend you to set up Autopay to avoid any issues related to payments for your instalments.
