If I have blocked funds, can I release those funds on the same day?
No, if funds are blocked today, they cannot be released on the same day. The earliest they can be released is on the next business day (T+1)
To unblock your funds, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Access your Torus account through the app.
Step 2: Click on "Stocks."
Step 3: Go to the My Account Section
Step 4: Select the "Funds" section.
Step 5: Click on the "Withdraw Funds" option, which will take you to the funds page.
Step 6: Enter the amount you wish to withdraw.
Once the process is complete, the funds will be transferred to your registered bank account. You can check the status of your withdrawal in the "Funds History" section.
Please note: If there are any open positions or settlement obligations, funds will be released by the end of the day for fund release requests made between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM. For requests made after 4:00 PM, the funds will be unblocked by end of the next business day.
