Recently, one of India’s leading e-sports and mobile gaming companies released its Q4 results, registering remarkable growth in its top and bottom lines. Nazara Technologies’ Q4 results registered an operational revenue of ₹520.2 crore and a profit of ₹4.07 crore.
In Nazara Technologies’ latest results, revenue from operations grew by approximately 95% year-over-year (YoY). Further, the major driver of the company’s operational revenue was the e-sports segment, adding ₹217 crore, followed by gaming, adding ₹156 crore, and lastly, ad tech, adding ₹147 crore.
However, their profit before tax (PBT) declined sharply to ₹5.07 crore in Q4 FY25, down from ₹16.9 crore in Q4 FY24, primarily due to higher employee benefit expenses and increased stock-in-trade purchases. Despite this, EBITDA rose by 74.4% year-on-year to ₹51 crore, compared to ₹29.3 crore in the same period last year. However, the EBITDA margin narrowed to 9.8% from 11% in Q4 FY24.
