Nephrocare Health Services<\/a> marked its entry into the Indian stock market<\/a> on December 17, 2025, with a positive opening, following solid demand during its initial public offering<\/a>. The company\u2019s shares were listed at \u20b9490 per share on the National Stock Exchange, reflecting a premium of 6.5% over the issue price of \u20b9460. On the Bombay Stock Exchange, the stock opened slightly higher at \u20b9491.70, translating into a gain of 6.89% from the IPO price.<\/p>\n

While the listing began on an encouraging note, the stock later pared some of its early gains during the trading session. On the BSE, the share price eased from an intraday high of \u20b9498.70 to a low of \u20b9475, placing it around 3.2% above the issue price at its weakest point of the day.<\/p>\n

<\/span>IPO Subscription and Investor Response<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The Nephrocare Health IPO<\/a> received a robust response from investors across categories during the three-day bidding period between December 10 and December 12. By the close of subscriptions, the issue was subscribed to 13.96 times overall.<\/p>\n

Qualified institutional buyers led the demand, subscribing to their portion 27.47 times. Non-institutional investors followed closely with a subscription of 24.27 times, while the retail segment was subscribed to 2.31 times. In total, bids were placed for over 18.68 crore shares against approximately 1.34 crore shares on offer, highlighting broad-based interest in the offering.<\/p>\n

<\/span>IPO Structure and Key Details<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Nephrocare Health\u2019s IPO was a book-built issue aimed at raising nearly \u20b9871 crore. The offering comprised a fresh issue of 7.7 million equity shares amounting to \u20b9353.75 crore, along with an offer for sale of 11.3 million shares valued at \u20b9517.64 crore.<\/p>\n

The price band for the IPO was fixed between \u20b9438 and \u20b9460 per share, with a lot size of 32 shares. At the upper end of the band, the minimum retail investment worked out to \u20b914,720. The allotment of shares was finalised on December 15, ahead of the company\u2019s listing on the exchanges.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Use of IPO Proceeds<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

As outlined in the red herring prospectus, Nephrocare Health will not receive any proceeds from the offer for sale component, as those funds will be distributed to the selling shareholders. The net proceeds from the fresh issue are planned to be utilised towards capital expenditure for setting up new dialysis clinics across India.<\/p>\n

In addition, a portion of the funds will be allocated for the repayment or prepayment of certain borrowings, along with meeting general corporate requirements to support ongoing operations and expansion plans.<\/p>\n
