Park Medi World<\/a> marked its stock market debut on December 17, 2025, with a subdued opening on both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The healthcare services provider\u2019s shares were listed at \u20b9158 on the NSE, reflecting a 2.5% decline from the IPO<\/a> issue price of \u20b9162. On the BSE, the stock opened at \u20b9155.60, translating into a steeper discount of 3.95%.<\/p>\n

The listing followed the successful conclusion of the company\u2019s initial public offering, which raised a total of \u20b9920 crore and attracted healthy participation across investor categories.<\/p>\n

<\/span>IPO Structure and Fundraising Details<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Park Medi World\u2019s IPO comprised a mix of a fresh issue and an offer for sale. The public issue included a fresh issuance of 4.75 crore equity shares amounting to \u20b9770 crore, along with an offer for sale of 0.93 crore shares worth \u20b9150 crore. The price band for the IPO was set between \u20b9154 and \u20b9162 per share.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the IPO opening, the company secured \u20b9276 crore from anchor investors on December 9, 2025, providing early institutional backing to the issue.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Subscription Response Across Investor Categories<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The Park Medi World IPO<\/a> witnessed solid demand during its three-day subscription window. By the close of bidding, the issue was subscribed 8.53 times overall. The non-institutional investor segment saw the strongest interest, subscribing 15.93 times, while qualified institutional buyers subscribed 12.07 times. Retail investors also participated actively, with their portion booked 3.32 times.<\/p>\n

In total, bids were received for 33.88 crore shares against the 3.97 crore shares on offer, underscoring broad-based investor participation.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Use of IPO Proceeds<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The company has outlined a clear deployment plan for the funds raised through the fresh issue. A significant portion, amounting to \u20b9380 crore, is earmarked for the repayment of borrowings taken by Park Medi World and its subsidiaries. An additional \u20b960.50 crore will be used to establish a new hospital and expand existing healthcare facilities, including those operated by its subsidiary.<\/p>\n

Further, \u20b927.46 crore has been allocated for the procurement of medical equipment. The remaining funds will be applied towards general corporate purposes and potential inorganic expansion opportunities that are yet to be finalised.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Company Overview and Operational Footprint<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Park Medi World is the second-largest private hospital operator in North India and the largest private hospital chain in Haryana by bed capacity, as of March 31, 2025. The company operates 14 NABH-accredited, multi-super speciality hospitals under the \u2018Park\u2019 brand, with a total installed capacity of approximately 3,000 beds.<\/p>\n

Over the past two years, Park Medi World has undertaken a notable expansion of its infrastructure. Its total bed capacity increased from 2,550 beds as of March 31, 2023, to 3,250 beds by September 30, 2025. The expansion momentum is expected to continue, with new hospitals currently under development in locations such as Ambala, Panchkula, Rohtak, New Delhi, Gorakhpur and Kanpur.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Financial Performance Snapshot<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Financially, the company reported an improvement in profitability in FY25, posting a profit of \u20b9213 crore compared with \u20b9152 crore in FY24. This performance, however, remained below the \u20b9228 crore reported in FY23. Revenue growth has been steady, rising to \u20b91,426 crore in FY25 from \u20b91,263 crore in FY24 and marginally above \u20b91,272 crore recorded in FY23.<\/p>\n
