While revenue showed steady growth, profitability softened compared with last year\u2019s strong base.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Revenue_Growth_with_Divergent_Segment_Trends\"><\/span><strong>Revenue Growth with Divergent Segment Trends<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>For the quarter ended 30 September 2025, Oil India recorded revenue from operations (excluding excise duty) of \u20b95,456.64 crore, representing a 4.01% year-on-year increase.<\/p>\n<p>Despite this overall growth, the company witnessed contrasting movements across its key business lines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Crude oil revenue<\/strong> declined 11.73% YoY to \u20b93,512.25 crore.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Natural gas revenue<\/strong> rose 6.88% YoY to \u20b91,418.65 crore.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pipeline transportation income<\/strong> surged 226.77% YoY to \u20b9444.87 crore, marking a significant boost.<\/li>\n<li><strong>LPG revenue<\/strong> grew 7.05% YoY to \u20b946.33 crore.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Renewable energy income<\/strong> increased 3.75% YoY to \u20b934.62 crore.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These shifts highlight changing market conditions as well as the company\u2019s expanding contribution from gas, transportation and renewable assets.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Profitability_Impacted_by_Higher_Costs\"><\/span><strong>Profitability Impacted by Higher Costs<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The company posted a standalone net profit of \u20b91,044.02 crore, a 43.1% decline compared with \u20b91,834.07 crore in Q2 FY25.<br \/>\nProfit before tax also moderated to \u20b91,317.59 crore, down 42.85% from the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>Margins were affected accordingly:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Operating margin<\/strong> narrowed sharply to 13.69% from 30.43%.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Net profit margin<\/strong> softened to 19.13%, compared with 33.23% a year earlier.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Stable_Production_and_Strong_Refinery_Throughput\"><\/span><strong>Stable Production and Strong Refinery Throughput<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Oil and oil-equivalent gas production remained steady at 1.652 MMTOE, closely aligned with 1.674 MMTOE recorded in the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>Numaligarh Refinery Ltd (NRL) \u2013 an associate of Oil India \u2013 delivered a healthy operational performance:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Crude throughput<\/strong> rose to 753 TMT, compared with 683 TMT last year.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Capacity utilisation<\/strong> stood at an impressive 100.38%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/torusdigital.go.link\/hgQeE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"responsive-img\" src=\"https:\/\/www.torusdigital.com\/toruscope\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Desktop-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<style>\n  .responsive-img {<br \/>\n    display: block;<br \/>\n    margin-left: auto;<br \/>\n    margin-right: auto;<br \/>\n    width: 100%;<br \/>\n    max-width: 900px;<br \/>\n<\/style>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Operational_Milestones_and_Strategic_Progress\"><\/span><strong>Operational Milestones and Strategic Progress<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The quarter also marked noteworthy project achievements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NRL commissioned India\u2019s first 2G bioethanol plant using bamboo as the primary feedstock, reinforcing the company\u2019s commitment to cleaner energy solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Oil India achieved mechanical completion of the Numaligarh\u2013Siliguri Product Pipeline, an important infrastructure development.<\/li>\n<li>Force majeure was lifted in November 2025 for the Area-1 Offshore LNG Block in Mozambique, where Oil India holds a 4% participating interest, paving the way for future progress.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Interim_Dividend_Declared\"><\/span><strong>Interim Dividend Declared<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The board approved an interim dividend of \u20b93.50 per share (35% of paid-up capital) for FY26.
