The company reported a significant year-on-year (YoY) rise in profitability, driven by steady performance across its trading and corporate services segments.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Key_Highlights\"><\/span><strong>Key Highlights<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Net profit<\/strong> rose 61% YoY to \u20b9557 crore in Q2 FY26.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Revenue from operations<\/strong> climbed 44% YoY to \u20b91,068 crore.<\/li>\n<li><strong>EBITDA margin<\/strong> improved to 64.7%, up from 52.4% in Q2 FY25.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Investment income<\/strong> remained steady at \u20b965.69 crore.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Market capitalisation<\/strong> crossed \u20b91.07 trillion as of 11 November 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Financial_Performance_Overview\"><\/span><strong>Financial Performance Overview<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>BSE\u2019s consolidated net profit surged 61% YoY to \u20b9557 crore in Q2 FY26, compared to \u20b9245.7 crore recorded in the same quarter last year. The exchange\u2019s robust operational efficiency and higher transaction income contributed to this strong performance.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s revenue from operations grew 44% YoY to \u20b91,068 crore, up from \u20b9741 crore in the July\u2013September quarter of the previous fiscal year. The exchange attributed this improvement to the expansion of its trading segments, the steady growth of its mutual fund distribution platform, and an uptick in corporate services income.<\/p>\n<p>Sequentially, BSE\u2019s profit after tax (PAT) increased by 3.5% compared to Q1 FY26, while quarterly revenue rose 12% from \u20b9958 crore, reflecting consistent momentum in its business operations.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Market_Performance_and_Share_Trend\"><\/span><strong>Market Performance and Share Trend<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Following the announcement of its quarterly results, BSE shares closed 0.68% higher at \u20b92,643.10 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), compared to \u20b92,625.30 in the previous session.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past five years, BSE\u2019s stock has delivered remarkable returns of over 4,100%, and more than 71% in the last one-year period. On a year-to-date basis, the stock has risen 46.14% in 2025, with a 6% gain in the last month alone.<\/p>\n<p>According to NSE data, BSE shares reached a 52-week high of \u20b93,030 on 10 June 2025, while the 52-week low stood at \u20b91,227.33 on 11 March 2025.
