Sequentially, profit increased by 8.5% from \u20b93,617 crore.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s performance was powered by a surge in order inflows, reflecting strong demand across multiple sectors and geographies. According to a BSE filing, orders worth \u20b91.15 trillion were secured during the quarter, with 65% of these coming from international markets.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Revenue_Growth_and_Market_Performance\"><\/span><strong>Revenue Growth and Market Performance<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>L&amp;T\u2019s revenue from operations rose 10% YoY to \u20b967,984 crore, compared to \u20b961,555 crore in Q2FY25, supported by healthy execution across business segments. However, revenue declined 1% to \u20b931,759 crore due to extended monsoon conditions and slower progress in certain water projects.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Energy Projects:<\/strong><br \/>\nA strong quarter for the energy vertical, with order inflows more than doubling to \u20b938,156 crore, led by hydrocarbon projects. Revenue rose 48% to \u20b913,082 crore, reflecting higher international execution.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hi-Tech Manufacturing:<\/strong><br \/>\nOrders stood at \u20b92,582 crore, down 34% due to deferred orders. However, revenue increased 33% to \u20b92,754 crore owing to improved execution efficiency.<\/li>\n<li><strong>IT &amp; Technology Services:<\/strong><br \/>\nOrder inflow and revenue both increased 13% YoY to \u20b913,274 crore, supported by improved sectoral spending.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Financial Services:<\/strong><br \/>\nOrder inflows grew 8.6% to \u20b94,166 crore, while income also rose 9%, driven by higher retail disbursements.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Development Projects:<\/strong><br \/>\nOrder inflow reached \u20b91,531 crore, up 10.6%, and revenue increased 10% to \u20b91,533 crore.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Robust_Order_Pipeline_and_International_Presence\"><\/span><strong>Robust Order Pipeline and International Presence<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The company reported a 45% YoY increase in order inflows, with a total of \u20b91,15,784 crore worth of new orders booked during the quarter.
