The state-owned non-banking financial company (NBFC) reported a strong year-on-year (YoY) rise in profitability and revenue, reflecting its growing role in supporting India\u2019s clean energy transition.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Quarterly_Financial_Performance\"><\/span><strong>Quarterly Financial Performance<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>IREDA\u2019s standalone net profit for the second quarter of FY26 stood at \u20b9549 crore, marking a 41% increase from \u20b9387.75 crore in the same period last year. The company\u2019s total standalone revenue from operations grew by 26.2% YoY, reaching \u20b92,056.88 crore in Q2FY26, up from \u20b91,629.55 crore in Q2FY25.<\/p>\n<p>The PSU\u2019s operating profit rose sharply by 54%, climbing from \u20b9503 crore to \u20b9776 crore year-on-year, driven by higher disbursements and efficient financial management.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Strong_Growth_in_Loan_Portfolio_and_Sanctions\"><\/span><strong>Strong Growth in Loan Portfolio and Sanctions<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>During the September quarter, IREDA\u2019s loan book expanded by 31%, reaching \u20b984,477 crore, compared to \u20b964,564 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The company also witnessed a substantial increase in loan sanctions, which rose 145% YoY to \u20b921,408 crore from \u20b98,724 crore a year earlier.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, loan disbursements during the quarter surged 81%, totalling \u20b98,062 crore against \u20b94,462 crore in Q2FY25.
